Dr. Hassan Auda Awaad is the Professor of Crop Breeding in Faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig University, Egypt . Dr. Awaad got his Ph.D. in 1992 in “Breeding Studies on Wheat Crosses,” and General Specialization: Agronomy, Exact specialization: Crop breeding. He has published more than 70 research and articles, published 6 books in the field of physiology, crop breeding, and biotechnology in Arabic language, and produced new promising lines in wheat crop. Dr Awaad is a member in the Board of Permanent Commission for the Promotion of professors and assistant professors, Member of the Egyptian Society of Crop Science, Egyptian Society of Plant Breeding, Egyptian Society of Applied Sciences and National Association of Science and Technology. Member and Principal Alternate Researcher and Consultant for several research projects. Supervised more than 20 M.Sc. and Ph.D. Theses, 18 of which were awarded. Arbitration of more than one hundred researches in local and international journals.
