The present investigation study was carried out on two temporary water pools along with a permanent water body as control site. The aim of the study was to assess the change inspecies composition on temporal scale in selected study sites. Study was conducted from September 2013 to March 2014 with three seasons. i.e. monsoon, winter and summer. Bothfield and Laboratory work was done during the study period. Species population count, species abundance and their compositions were observed in the field while the limnologicalprofile of the temporary water pools were done in the laboratory of PG Department of Conservation Biology, Durgapur Government College. Statistical and diversity indices studies were computed by PAST and SPSS. Extreme care was given towards the assessmentof anuran and odonates as they were the most dependable species on the temporary water pools. The study reflected no change in the species composition of anurans but significantchange in the odonates. Among the anurans Cricket frog was found to be positively co- related with the pH value of the water in the temporary pools. Skippering frogs were alsopositively co-related with the Cricket frogs.
