Nepal is a rural country,thus, sustainable development of the country is not possible without improving the social and economic condition of the people living in the rural areas. Infrastructural services are the gateway of overall development of the nation. Accessibility is one of the most important infrastructural services; provides better social and economic opportunities of rural regions. Major concerns of rural parts of the developing countries are socioeconomic underdevelopment and poor road infrastructure. This study, therefore, focused to find out the relationship between socioeconomic factors i.e. "Poverty and Roads" in Helambu regions, Sindhupalchok, Nepal, in order to recommend such measures that could contribute to socioeconomic transformations i.e. poverty reduction at large. Overall socioeconomic change in locations with good access to road as compare to poor access road; households with good access to road services have better educational status and health services than the households with poor accessibility.
