Opis

Blickt man auf die Entwicklung der Rontgendiagnostik des Digestionstraktes und des Abdomens zuriick, empfindet man unweigerlich, wie mit der laufenden Verbesserung der Stromerzeuger, der Diagnostikrohren, der Untersuchungsgerate, gemeinsam mit der Ver- besserung der Kontrastmittel und des Aufnahmemateriales, eine stetige Steigerung des diagnostischen Aussagewertes der einzelnen Untersuchungsverfahren einhergeht. War in den Anfangen der Rontgendiagnostik des Digestionstraktes und des Abdomens knapp nach der J ahrhundertwende etwa bis zum Ersten Weltkrieg die Durchleuchtung die Domane dieser Diagnostik, hat sich im Laufe der Jahre die Aufnahmetechnik in einem MaBe entwickelt, daB es dem Rontgendiagnostiker heute moglich wird - um nur ein Beispiel heranzuziehen -, auch die diffizilsten Schleimhautveranderungen im Bereich des Magen-Darmkanales rontgenographisch zu fixieren und zu differenzieren. Wer daraus geschlossen hatte, daB damit die Rontgendiagnostik ein gewisses Endstadium beziiglich der technischen Fortentwicklung erreicht hatte, ging fehl. Denn gerade in der Gegenwart befindet sich auch die Rontgendiagnostik im Bereich des Digestionstraktes in einem Sta- dium eines revolutionierenden Umbruches. Die Bildverstarker-Fernsehtechnik findet auch in diesem Bereich immer mehr Anwendung, und das Angebot an Bildinformation und damit an diagnostischen Details ist so gewaltig geworden, daB man fast wieder mit der reinen Durchleuchtung auskommen konnte. Mit der wesentlich besseren und schnelleren Analyse der morphologischen Veranderungen haben wir auch die Moglichkeit des Stu- diums von Funktionsablaufen an einzelnen Abschnitten des Magen-Darmkanals erreicht, ebenfalls ein besonderer Gewinn dieses groBen Angebotes an diagnostischen Details.
