Two-wheel tractors play a great role for small-scale farmers to shift from animal-powered farming to engine powered. Since they are suitable with farmers holding one hectare, also they are suitable for other farm operation like transport, harvesting and stationary threshing by attaching different implements. It can be implemented in different country due to its simple design and can be manufactured locally. However, the operators of two wheel tractors are exposed to high levels of vibration transmitted from the handles to the hands, arms and shoulders. The detrimental effects of the hand-arm vibrations on the operators have been known for a long time. Hand-arm vibration originating from a two wheel tractor is very strong, and daily exposure to an operator over a number of years can cause permanent physical damage known as 'white finger syndrome'. Due to vibration and other problems, tractors distributed for intended purposes is not properly put in to practices, therefore, to evaluate the vibration of the two wheel tractors in order to make suitable for end users and their construction, purpose, operation, performance evaluation, vibration and vibration attenuation were reviewed.
