Pulpal pathologies constitute the majority of stomatological clinical emergencies and if treated in a timely manner they reduce dental mortality. The general objective was to determine the evolution of the treatment of transient serous acute reversible pulpitis (incipient stage) prolonging the use of eugenol as a pulp sedative up to 96 hours. In the study it was observed that the age group most affected by transient acute serous pulpitis (incipient stage) was 21 to 25 and 26 to 30 years old and the sex most affected was female. The evolution of the treatment was considered favorable when, 96 hours after treatment, the symptoms had completely subsided. Of the total number of patients, the majority had a favorable evolution to the treatment.
