Some of the chapters in the book are very theoretical and very extensive so that a researcher in this area will benefit much from reading this book. Practitioners will also benefit by getting the basic ideas of the various concepts and understanding them through the abundant number of examples in the book. R. DENNIS COOK is Professor, Department of Applied Statistics, University of Minnesota. He is the coauthor of An Introduction to Regression Graphics and numerous articles on regression and experimental design. He received his PhD in statistics from Kansas State University and is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics.
