They have long been treated with root canal therapy ( for mature root apex) and apexification ( for immature root apex) or worse, doomed to extraction. Although successful, the endodontic treatment is known to cause loss of a significant amount of dentin, leaving as life lasting sequelae - a non-vital and weakened tooth. Regenerative endodontics , has brought about a paradigm shift in how one now looks at these compromised teeth. This book gives a detailed account of the modality, the technique and its scope.

Dr. Prerna Panthri, a 2nd year postgraduate student from Subharti Dental College, has been a scholar throughout her academic career. She has been a part of many international and national conferences including the IAPD conference- 2013 with various paper and poster presentations. She has also to her credit, publications in scientific journals.
