Dr. R. Malathi is a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, attached to the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar. She received her Ph.D. in Computational Bioengineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India. Her career spans with 20 years of experience in teaching and 6 years in research. She has to her credit more than 25 research publications in peer reviewed international journals and conferences. She is a member of Board of Studies and Board of Exams in various institutions. Her experience has brought out a number of M.E./M.Tech. theses in Instrumentation Engineering and is currently supervising two Ph.D. scholars in the area of Bioengineering. She holds the distinction carving out societal findings through AICTE/UGC sponsored projects. She is member/Life member of various National and International Society such as Biophysical Society, ISTE, American Heart Association, ISI, etc. She carries with her a distinction of bagging the Best thesis award from Indian Institute of Technology Madras and the Best paper award in International conferences. Her research and teaching interests include Bioengineering, Soft computing techniques and control, and Instrumentation.
Dr. J. Krishnan acquired his doctoral degree in the field of Computational Bioengineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai. His research pursuit has brought to light more than 30 research articles in peer reviewed International journals and conferences. He has followed it up through a number of DST/AICTE sponsored projects to his credit. His innovative ideas have surfaced a number of postgraduate dissertations in the Control and Instrumentation domain and have 6 research scholars under him. He is member of various National and International Society such as Biophysical Society, ISTE, American Heart Association and ISI among others. He carries with him 21 years of teaching experience and 5 years of research experience. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, attached to the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar. His research and teaching interests include Computational Bioengineering, Control system and Modelling of dynamical systems.
