But these longings were designed to be filled in relationship with God. Praying your desire is asking Jesus to fill those desires with himself.

The technique is simple, and no type of prayer gets a quicker answer. You pick a desire, (like significance) and ask Jesus a question about it: "Jesus, how is my life significant to you?" Then you listen for a minute, and write down or share whatever you heard, saw, sensed, or what came into your heart. This is course with an expectation that you will actually experience Jesus speaking intimately to each person, both during the sessions and throughout the week.

The Questions for Jesus Group Guideprovides facilitators' notes for eight 75-minute sessions, with complete outlines, handouts and a downloadable PowerPoint presentation. A typical session features testimonies from the group, a short video teaching, time to practice asking Jesus questions, and a brief, daily meditation for during the week.
