Quality assurance is defined as a process that contributes to defining, designing, assessing, monitoring and improving the quality of healthcare. It is a comprehensive and multifaceted concept that measures how well clients' expectations as well as providers' technical standards are being met. To measure the quality of health services, three dimensions of quality assessment are required using a system approach in the form of input, process and outcome. Quality of family planning services may lead to fertility reduction, which as a result leads to meet the demographic objectives.
