This monograph examines the influence of marital satisfaction and job satisfaction on psychological distress among doctors. The sample of the study consist of doctors (N=100), which further divided into N=50 male and N=50 female doctors in government and private hospitals. The sample is taken through purposive sampling technique from private and government hospitals of Multan. The correlation and cross-sectional research design was used. It was established that married male and female doctors are more satisfied with their marital life and job and less psychology depressed. The cross sectional results give relatively strong relationship between marital satisfaction and job satisfaction. Pearson product correlation coefficient indicates positive correlation between job satisfaction and marital satisfaction. Job and marital satisfaction shows negative correlation with psychological distress. The results further show that doctors can perform well in their married life and they are free from distress and are more satisfied with their jobs.
