The book provided information on the good agricultural practices (GAPs) of onion (Allium cepa [L.]) in the tropics where there is increase demand and high premium for the crop, but bedeviled by low yields and poor post-harvest practices resulting in short shelf-life, lowering bulb quality and huge wastage. A dry season field trial conducted in two locations in Bauchi State, Nigeria with four supplied levels of N and P, completely randomized block design (RCBD) arranged in a 4 x 4 x 3 was used to test onion productivity in the area. Whereas storability of bulbs followed harvest from the two locations. Bulbs were pooled and bulked treatment-wise out of which 10 bulbs per treatment were selected at random and set on off-floor and on-floor storage regimes in a storeroom for 12 weeks under RCBD with 4 x 4 x 2 x 3 patterns. Data collected were analyzed using Minitab Version 11.
