Arjan J. van Weele held the NEVI-Chair in Purchasing and Supply Management at Eindhoven University of Technology until his retirement in 2019. He has published widely and acted as a consultant on procurement strategy and governance to many large companies including ABB, Heineken and Skanska. He holds an MBA degree from Interfaculteit Bedrijfskunde at Delft and a PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology. He worked for many years in education and research programmes at Eindhoven University of Technology and Nyenrode University. He was also a visiting professor to several management development programmes across Europe. Arjan has published 20 books and over 200 articles in a range of academic journals including the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, and European Management Journal. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management and the Advisory Board of the Journal of Supply Chain Management. He has received numerous awards for his outstanding contribution to the field including in 2018, the Lifetime Achievement Award from IPSERA, the International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association, for his outstanding academic contribution in the purchasing and supply domain.
Frank Rozemeijer holds the NEVI Chair in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management at Maastricht University and is responsible for setting up PhD research projects, coordinating the master course Strategic Sourcing and supervising master thesis projects. He is also program director of the NEVI Procurement Leadership Program that is hosted at Maastricht University. He studied Business Economics at the University of Amsterdam and gained his PhD in 2000 at Eindhoven University of Technology. After which, he started work at RSM Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Frank is an active consultant, trainer and executive coach for international companies across many industries. He is an associated partner at SOLVINT, a medium-sized procurement and supply chain management consulting firm. Over the past 20 years, he has built a strong international reputation as a speaker and facilitator for conferences and in-company seminars as well as an inspirator for procurement and supply chain leadership.
