Dr. Guoqing Geng received his PhD and postdoc training from UC Berkeley (2017) and Paul Scherrer Institute (2019), respectively. He joined National University of Singapore as an Assistant Professor since 2019. He has research interests in sustainability and performance based innovation of modern construction materials, as well as predicting and enhancing their long-term durability. He is a member of the American Concrete Institute and several technical committees of International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures.

Dr QIAN Xudong is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is currently the Director at the Centre for Advanced Materials and Structures. His research interest covers experimental fracture mechanics, fracture and fatigue assessment for large-scale structural components, welded connections, steel-concrete-steel composite structures, polymer composite materials, and digital twin solutions with sensor interfacing. He is a member of the ASTM technical committee E8 on fatigue and fracture and F42 on additive manufacturing.

Dr Leong Hien POH is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore. He is interested in developing predictive material models and numerical techniques that bridge across different spatial and/or temporal scales. His research topics include mechanics of materials, damage mechanics, multi-scale methods, homogenization techniques, and protective technology against impact loadings.

Sze Dai Pang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore. He is currently the Vice-Chairman of the IES-IStructE Joint Committee, Council Member of the Singapore Structural Steel Society. He has been involved in research on advanced and sustainable building materials, computational mechanics to drive materials design and to predict structural response when subjected to extreme loadings, and combining mechanics and materials to innovate structural connections for ease of construction.
