Over the course of their capture, Josey uncovers secrets which go back centuries; including the identity of his father, and why his pregnant mother had been abandoned. He answers questions he didn't even know he had; through the course of his investigation, he uncovers the troubling and enticing truth about his cellmate. Josey must make a choice about where his loyalties lie. With boys like himself, kept there against their will? With his family back home, who don't even know about his predicament? With his sullenly sexy cellmate made of secrets and wrapped in desire? Or with his biological family, the kings and rulers of a subculture of werewolves that Josey hadn't even known about before now?
