Pragmatica Linguistica y Diccionario Partiendo de los antecedentes historicos y las motivaciones que condujeron a la preocupacion por el lenguaje, en el capitulo I se establecen los fundamentos teoricos y metodologicos (Pragmatica Linguistica) para el analisis de la lengua del DRAE. Despues de establecer los parametros que atanen a la lengua del Diccionario, la autora analiza (capitulo II) algunos de los articulos mas representativos del Diccionario academico, que funcionan como centros de interes en la medida en que son expresion de juicios sobre la sociedad. El objeto de los capitulos III y IV se centran en el estudio del significante lexico en relacion con la aparicion de nuevas palabras y la desaparicion de otras, asi como del significado lexico, en su doble vertiente de informacion gramatical y contenido lexico. Distinguimos en este apartado la definicion en metalengua de contenido (definicion propia) de la definicion en metalengua de signo (definicion impropia). Un grupo importante de entradas lexicas funcionan como palabras performativas, es decir, al usarlas se convierten en actos de habla. El ultimo capitulo esta dedicado al analisis de las formas complejas. On the basis of the historical precedents and motivations that led to the concern about the language, chapter I establishes the theoretical and methodological base (Linguistic Pragmatics) for the analysis of the language of the DRAE (Diccionario de la Real Academia Espanola). After having established the parameters concerning the language of the dictionary, the author analyses (chapter II) the most representative articles of the academic Dictionary, which works as the center of interest because they are an expression of judgments about the society. The object of chapters III and IV is the study of the appearance of new words and the disappearance of others, as well as of the lexical meaning and grammatical information of the same ones. We do the distinction between the definition in metalengua of the content (own definition) and the definition in metalengua of the sign (the improper definition). An important group of lexical entries function as performative words, which means that when we use them, they are changed into speech acts. The last chapter is dedicated to the analysis of set phrases or locutions.
