Zigaran, Marcelo
Marcelo Zigaran is a cellist. He has performed in USA, Europe and South America as a soloist and chamber musician and he has also done teaching in Summer Festivals and Master Classes. He currently performs with his duo with piano, "La Note Bleue", giving recitals and lectures in the US. Dr. Zigaran attended the National Conservatory of Buenos Aires for his undergraduate studies. He then studied at The University of Missouri-Kansas City where he erned two Master degrees: Cello Performance and Music composition. Doctoral studies in Cello: University of Houston.
Dr. Zigaran has studied psychoanalysis at the University of Buenos Aires for several years. He is engaged in writing about psychoanalisis and music, as well as further philosophical investigations about Music and meaning.
