This book presents papers from the International Conference on Power Transmissions 2016, held in Chongqing, P.R. China, 27th-30th October 2016. The main objective of this conference is to provide a forum for the most recent advances, addressing the challenges in modern mechanical transmissions. O autorze

Datong Qin is currently a professor at Chongqing University, China. His research fields cover the design and applications of the mechanical transmission systems, and the vehicle power transmission and comprehensive control. He has published more than 250 academic journal papers. He currently serves as administrative member of the International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM), and member of the International gear and transmission technology committee. Datong is on the editorial board of many academic journals including Journal of Mechanical Engineering, Journal of Mechanical Transmissions, Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering and China Journal of Highway and Transport.
