The concept of power dialectics in Anglophone Cameroonian poetry has not received the critical attention it deserves, consequently, the main thrust of the argument in this book is predicated on the premise that power dialectics in the Cameroonian society has created an identity crisis. Gahlia Gwangwa'a, Bate Besong and Mathew Takwi in their poetic imagination have used their poetic works to highlight these sociopolitical problems that have overwhelmed the Cameroonian society and propose dialogue as a way forward.
