Tourism is deemed to be a prospective way for achieving economic growth around the world. Apart from its economic role, tourism has effects on the environment and the sociocultural settings of the host area. For a developing country like Bangladesh, tourism could open up a magnificent window of opportunity, if it is considered from a holistic perspective.
