Recent medical education reforms in Tunisia have highlighted the importance of clinical skills and a learner-centered approach. In this context, the portfolio is a useful tool to support interns in their training. The aim of this project was to create a portfolio guide for interns at the Sousse Faculty of Medicine in hepato-gastroenterology (HGE). To achieve this, a literature review identified best practices, and an analysis of the specific needs of interns was carried out.The result is a portfolio guide that clearly defines its objectives and content. It includes an identification sheet, learning activities such as clinical situation narratives and an internship diary, as well as space for personal reflection. Assessment criteria have also been developed to measure the clinical and interpersonal skills of interns. In conclusion, this guide meets a specific need in the medical training of HGE interns. A pilot phase will be set up to adjust the guide according to feedback from interns and tutors.
