Organic materials are based on macromolecular compounds such as polymers, but also other organic compounds that can play different roles: additives, dyes, plasticizers, etc. Thermoplastic organic materials are polymers that soften and become fluid when heated and can be cast into a mold following the cooling process taking the required form. The cycle can be repeated and allows the recycling of thermoplastic materials. The possibility of recovery and recycling of thermoplastic materials is their main advantage against the thermo-reactive materials, which is why 90% of polymers processed into finished products are thermoplastic.Another advantage is that their manufacture does not involve other reactions, so the process is easy to control and has relatively low costs.Increasingly strong concerns are manifested in the protection of the environment by creating biodegradable polymers, which, like the natural ones, do not accumulate after they become unusable. In this context, we present some research on polymeric composite materials that would emphasize their main qualities and behavior in different environmental conditions. We hope that the readers find this attempt useful.
