Dennis Pauschinger holds a joint PhD from the Erasmus+ Doctorate in Cultural and Global Criminology programme at the Universities of Kent and Hamburg. He wrote this book whilst he was postdoc and associate researcher in the Institute of Geography at the University of Neuchatel. His work has been published in Security Dialogue, Environment and Planning C: Society and Space, Conflict and Society or Surveillance and Society. He currently works at the Swiss Federal Chancellery as co-coordinator of legislative planning and supports governmental briefings in the political fields of energy, environment, climate, spatial planning and sports policies.
