Pinyin Riji Duanwen is a collection of short stories and essays in Mandarin Chinese by Zhang Liqing (1936–2010). Zhang was a Mandarin teacher in Taiwan and the United States and a scholar renowned for her work on the ABC Chinese-English Dictionary and as co-founder of the journal Xin Tang. A notable promoter of Hanyu Pinyin — the standard romanization of Mandarin Chinese — she wrote these stories entirely in Pinyin. Well-written and engrossing, this collection will interest native speakers and learners of Mandarin alike. Pīnyīn rìjì shōujíle yóu Zhāng Lìqīng (1936-2010) yòng Hànyǔ Pīnyīn xiě de gùshì hé duǎnwén.
