James is aided in his actions by a special 'gift', an ability to actually predict the future in the most explicit, exacting detail with uncanny accuracy. His predictions are more than visual, but tactile, virtual, and overpoweringly real experiences. His virtual clairvoyance has a name, it's called the 'Inner Eye'. Once James had 'righted a wrong' the other half of his 'gift' comes into play, allow him to experience and live a complete instant replay of the event down to the finest minutia. As football players watch films of games past to analyze their efforts, look for errors, weaknesses, and strengths ... so it is with James, only his is a virtual reality experience. When we see James, either pre or post action, exercise his 'Inner Eye' we find ourselves asking, "Does James use The Inner Eye or does The Inner Eye use James? Who's in charge here?"
