Adolescenct girls are a core resource for national growth. Investment in their health and development is investment in the greater well-being of the country. Considering that several of these girls are out of school, get married early, face discrimination in accessing health, education and other services, work in vulnerable situation and are influenced by peer pressure, they need special attention. They need to be looked in terms of their needs both as a group as well as individuals as they are the productive members of the society in future. Recognizing the unmet needs of Adolescent Girls, Rajiv Gandhi Scheme for Empowerment of Adolescent Girls - SABLA has been launched. The government is investing in the health, nutrition and development needs of adolescent girls to advance their rights to education, health and protection which will help to them to build a future of gender equality and justice. All this, will in turn help in building of a self-reliant and confident women citizenry. This investigation was taken to know and understand the clear picture of SABLA in Bikaner District so that the proper feedback can be given to concerned personnel to make it more effective.
