This volume contains papers presented at the 11th annual workshop in the series, held in Liverpool from 5 - 6 September 1995. The workshop covered both practical and theoretical issues, and included contributions from a number of well-known experts in the field. The main focus of the workshop was on applying performance/reliability modelling and measurement techniques to the design of efficient and dependable computer and communication systems. There was also a strong emphasis on aspects relating to multimedia networking and applications. The workshop aimed to bring together representatives from industry, commerce and academia, in order to get as comprehensive an overview as possible.
