Do you want to know the plan of God? If you are a believer in Jesus Christ you should want to know. Understand this, in the construction of anything worthwhile, nothing is built without plans and specifications (Spec's). There are developers, architects, engineers and contractors that all play a part in the design and construction of roads, bridges, buildings and communities. Do you think that man thought of "plans (working drawings) and Spec's (detailed requirements)" on his own? When God told Moses to build the tabernacle he (God) stated "And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. According to all that I show thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle (drawings), and the pattern of all the instruments thereof (Spec's), even so shall ye make it." (Exodus 25:8 & 9) God gave Moses a heavenly plan to follow in the construction of the tabernacle and he even filled men with wisdom, understanding, knowledge and in all manner of workmanship "that they may make all that I have commanded thee" (Ref. Exodus 31:1-6) Consider farmers; they don't just throw seed in the earth without planning. The earth needs to be tilled and the soil must be suitable for certain types of seed. How does the farmer know what to do and how to do it? "For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him."(Ref. Isaiah 28:26) How can seed produce trees which produce fruit? It is because the pattern is in the seed. The earth and everything in it does not function haphazardly; there is a design to everything, even our very bodies: "Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being imperfect(not formed); and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them."(Psalms 139:16) The invisible things of God are to be clearly seen through his creation. (Ref. Romans 1:20) The intent is that what is of God will ultimately resemble him and if his plan is perfect in the design; the result of his plan must be perfect in the construction of that design. That is why he told Moses to make all things according to the pattern shown to thee in the mount. The pattern and the construction of that pattern must become one. In this book you will see how God will reconcile both; "for we are laborers together with God: ye are God's husbandry ye are God's building." (Ref. 1 Corinthians 3:9)
