Even the creative writers who witnessed the Partition and who heard from others about it gave a fictional account of the Partition. It was not only division of properties, of assets and liabilities, but of hearts and minds.

Dr. Satish Govind Saykar is an emerging scholar in Indian Subcontinental English Literature. Besides this, he is interested in Muslim Literature, Minority Literature and the New Literatures in English. He has been teaching English in Senior College from 2005.
