Patrick Morris is retired, working 29 years as a zoo vet for the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park. In 1991, right after being hired, Pat was stricken with cancer. Having read all of the science fiction he liked, Pat turned to writing science fiction during treatment. This is Pat's 6th novel, and he intends to keep writing.
