Wells are the most affordable means of water supply in developing countries. The search for potable water supply in these countries is yet to be achieved. Wells are largely prone to surface and underground contaminations by parasites. This situation remains a great public health concern because it poses threats to wellbeing of man and safety of water. Well water contamination can be described as a "multiparasitic" condition, where a single well may be contaminated by more than one type of parasite.
