This is an attempt to fill a gap in case-based pain management. Similar types of books are available in other fields of medicine, but this a first in the field of pain. The chapters are well written, the approach to the disease process is outlined in a very systematic way, and management strategies are logically presented. It's a nice refresher course in pain medicine that would be a nice addition to anyone's library. Doody's Notes
