A experimental study has been performed for one concentrated PVT collector. A fully covered photovoltaic thermal compound parabolic concentrator (PVT-CPC) water collector at (N=1) constant flow rate has been experimentally validated for Delhi climate under clear sky condition. Two different trackings have been considered to compare the thermal and electrical performance of proposed system. Tracking (i): fixed (non-tracking) collector and (ii): manual-maximum power point tracking (M-MPPT) collector. It is observed that tracking (ii) is dominated to case (i) to achieve maximum overall exergy. It has been found that a fair agreement between theoretical and experimental results through correlation coefficient and percentage error. After validation, the detailed study has been further presented for evaluating overall performance of series connected N identical PVT-CPC collector for the same climate condition. Here, all four types of weather conditions have been considered to evaluate the system performance. Here, it is found that the electrical and thermal efficiency have been found to be same as experimental study.
