Most can remember a time when you knew that things were Out of yOur Hands. I can recount several times in my life when I did not know what to do; when I felt overwhelmed by grief or pain haunted my heart. At times, I wanted to give up. In my desperation, I would cry out to God, -Help me, please...-. Each time, although I may not have realized His presence at the time, God touched my life with His loving hand and helped me get through when I could not see any way out. Out of yOur Hands shares two of my experiences as well as those of others, who like you and I, have realized that some things this side of Heaven are out of our hands. The stories that others share in this book offer hope and encouragement to look to and trust God; to remember that His loving hands not only control the universe--they reach out in love to help us. Although not everyone who shares their story in this book professes the same religion and/or believes the same as me, the God of Abraham created each of us. He loves us and tells us that we are to love one another. Because I am a Christian, however, I cannot compromise my belief that God sent His Only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins; that He lives today; that He is: -The way, the truth, and the life---the only way to God. As others like me read the stories in Out of yOur Hands, I pray each one senses the presence of God's hand not only in this work birthed by love--but in their hearts.
