Pethuru Raj is working as the chief architect and vice-president in the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) division of Reliance Jio Platforms Ltd. Bangalore. His previous stints are in IBM global Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), Wipro consulting services (WCS), and Robert Bosch Corporate Research (CR). In total, he has gained more than 19 years of IT industry experience and 8 years of research experience. Having finished the CSIR-sponsored PhD degree at Anna University, Chennai, he continued with the UGC-sponsored postdoctoral research in the Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Thereafter, he was granted a couple of international research fellowships (JSPS and JST) to work as a research scientist for 3.5 years in two leading Japanese universities.
