A second Crystabell? One is more than enough. Okay, there are two Crystabells and Hespurs...well, sort of...more or less. Which is where the two large mirrors that can talk their mysterious home become part of this tale. However, the main story is about helping Iris and Cal save Flint's clan from some nasty monsters, but Willa is only coming along for the adventure. Oh, and Crystabell found a magic wishing ring. And no-you can't wish for more wishes. They stopped at the two full-length mirrors hanging across from each other in the hall. The one on the left was cloudy around the edges, its frame weathered and worn. The other was a flawless mirror with a hand-carved frame, gilded with gold. Crystabell gazed into the beautiful mirror, running her fingers through her hair. Hespur, standing at her side, stared in confusion at the mirrors. In the nice one on the right, he could see Crystabell but he couldn't see himself. In the weathered one, he could only see himself. For a moment the images blurred. When they clarified, they turned toward one another. Crystabell's likeness tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. "Well, here they are." The voice was Crystabell's except it had a smokey echo. "Do you suppose they have any idea what's in store for them?" Hespur's reflection shrugged. "The griffin? Perhaps," the image said with Hespur's voice and an echo. "I doubt the faerie has a clue."
