On the shoulders of the master explains this whole process of self-realization and how man can escape Samsara's endless repetition.
Man can soak weeks without food, days without water, minutes without air but no millisecond without observing. Man can, with any exercise, be without thoughts but not without perceiving. Observation or consciousness, just like matter, has four aggregate states. With matter one speaks of plasma (fire), gas (air), liquid (water) and solid (earth). Consciousness refers to perceiving, the observer, the perception and the perceived! However, observation always takes place by means of reflection. This reflected image in the mirror is given reality value by identification. Through identification the mirror image takes shape, the human creates his or her echo. This echo or ego is located in or behind the mirror image in a virtual universe. Ego, depending entirely on the attention of his or her creator, will lead a life of his or her own. Individually, the ego is nourished every time man says or thinks 'I'. Collectively, this virtual universe is fed by worldly and spiritual power structures. Thanks to the constant attention of the individual and the collective, this virtual universe retains its form. This self-created shadow world holds our soul captive and obliges us to reincarnate in order to undo this virtual captivity by self-realization.Self-realization is the moment when man discovers not to be an object!Enlightenment arises as soon as man stops identifying objects!Salvation is the result of the permanent awareness of not being an object!Although God is infinitely more than the true self, the true self is equal to God!The true self is the unconditional capacity to perceive the perceiving, the observer, the perception and the perceived! When you are deeply permeated by the self-evidence and consequences of these statements then nothing stands in the way of your self-realization!
