P. David Marshall is Professor of Communication at Charles Sturt University, Australia. His most recent books include The Celebrity Persona Pandemic (2016) and, as co-author, Persona Studies: an introduction (2020), and Advertising and Promotional Culture: Case Histories (2018). He is the co-founder of the journals, M/C- a journal of media and culture and Persona Studies.
