Leslie falls prey to a rapist who is later found tragically killed. Nicholas once again comes to her aid. Nicholas then pursues Leslie in an attempt to recapture her love. After a short time and with Yvonne's promptings, Leslie eventually marries Nicholas. But further complications arise. Yvonne has fallen in love with Nicholas and sets her mind on a plot to ruin Leslie's marriage. Through a bizarre twist of events, a series of mysterious deaths are brought to Leslie's attention by Yvonne. These deaths place suspicion on Nicholas. After vowing to bring Leslie the evidence, Yvonne meets with a sudden supposedly accidental death. Leslie suspects Nicholas is the murderer and that he murdered or had her husband Robbie murdered. Through fear and her own near death experience, the murderer is revealed, and Leslie finds her way back to a God who promised, "Never Will I Leave You."
