Cade Conlan Bushnell is an Associate Professor of International and Advanced Japanese Studies at the University of Tsukuba, Japan. He has a PhD in East Asian languages and literatures (Japanese linguistics) from the University of Hawai‘i.

Stephen J. Moody is an Associate Professor of Asian and Near Eastern Languages at Brigham Young University, Utah. He has a PhD in East Asian languages and literatures from the University of Hawai‘i.
