Anatolii Fomenko is a distinguished Russian mathematician turned popular history writer, founder of the so-called New Chronology school, and part of the explosion of alternative historical writing that has emerged in Russia since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Among his more startling claims are that the Old Testament was written after the New Testament, that Russia is older than Greece and Rome, and that the medieval Mongol Empire was in fact a Slav-Turk world empire, a Russian Horde, to which Western and Eastern powers paid tribute. §While academic historians dismiss Fomenko as a dangerous ethno-nationalist or post-modern clown, Fomenkos publications invariably outsell his conventional rivals. He is disdainful of customer-centric approaches to marketing and, as a consequence, has clashed publicly with numerous luminaries. Professor of Marketing Research at the University of Ulster, Stephen has held visiting positions at Northwestern University, the University of California and the University of Utah, among others. He has written or co-edited 13 books, including Marketing Apocalypse, Postmodern Marketing and Romancing the Market. His papers have been published in Harvard Business Review, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Advertising, Business Horizons and many more, winning various awards along the way. Dr Konstantin Sheiko studied Law and History at the Moscow Institute of Economics, Politics and Law before receiving a Masters in International Relations from the United States International University and a Ph. D. in History from the University of Wollongong, Australia.
