He is Scientific and Executive Director of the MBN Research Center, Frankfurt am Main, Professor at the Peter the Great Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University and the Leading Research Fellow at the A.F. Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, Correspondent Member of European Academy of Sciences, Arts and Literature, Coordinator of several large European Projects in the interdisciplinary fields of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Material Science, author / co-author of large number of research articles in high impact journals and books.
