Things were slower-paced, people were friendlier and always ready to lend a helping hand in time of need. Making big money didn't seem the major concern; caring for your family with what you had and the grace of God was. This book is about my childhood from as early as I can remember, pulling bits and pieces from the past to the time I stepped into adult life, marrying my Prince Charming at the age of eighteen.
