O autorze

Antonio Baldassarre ist promovierter Musikwissenschaftler und seit 1997 als Lehrbeauftragter und Gastdozent im In- und Ausland tätig. Zurzeit ist er Research Fellow am Institute for Music Performance Studies IMPS der Hochschule Luzern - Musik. Seine Forschungs- und Lehrtätigkeit umfassen Aspekte der Musikgeschichte des späten 18. Jahrhunderts bis zur Gegenwart, der Performance Studies sowie die Musikikonographie, die Musikgeschichtsschreibung und die musikalische Kulturgeschichte.
Antonio Baldassarre holds a doctorate in musicology and since 1997 has been lecturer and guest professor at numerous universities, music conservatories and research institutions in Switzerland and abroad. At present he is research fellow at The Institute for Music Performance Studies (IMPS) of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. His extensive research and publication activities include late 18th- to 21st-century music history, performance studies, music iconography, music historiography and the cultural history of music.
