Contemporary society, sustained by cyberculture, has provided opportunities for socialisation and musical learning mediated by cyberspace. Within this context, this publication presents an investigation into the use of digital technologies in Art/Music classes with three teachers from the Basic Education Network in the municipality of Mossoró, Rio Grande do Norte. The theoretical framework is anchored in the field of Music Education and related areas. The methodological choice was initially made using secondary quantitative data through the PROEXT 2011-MEC/SESu UERN University Extension Programme, called Education, Music and Technology: multidisciplinary dialogue in continuing education. Next, a study of interviews was conducted with the respective teachers who contributed to the data collection through semi-structured interviews. The results show that despite access to technologies, teachers encounter difficulties in pedagogical-musical practice in handling them as well as in developing content in music classes. However, the possibility of promoting learning together with students is already part of these teachers' daily lives.
