This action research has applied some teaching strategies in a KG2 classroom in an attempt to solve the problem of teaching multilevel classes. It has relied on the MI theory introduced by Howard Gardner as a starting point. The strategies have been planned taking into consideration the different intelligences defined by Howard Gardner and the KG2 class curriculum. They have varied from interest centers, journal writing, and group work to circle time. Qualitative as well as quantitative methods have been used to conduct this research. The instruments implemented for this goal have been rating scale, anecdotal records, and portfolio. The portfolio has provided the researcher with concrete samples of students work. The anecdotal records have organized the notes taken during the researcher s observations. And the rating scale has served as a summary of students achievement. The results have revealed that implementing teaching strategies addressing the multiple intelligences in a KG2 classroom leads to rounded learning giving a chance for all the students to experience success and gain self-esteem.
