Peter Schäuble war Assistenzprofessor für Informatik an der ETH Zürich, wo er mit seiner Forschergruppe neue Methoden für die Informationsbeschaffung entwickelte. Heute leitet er die von ihm gegründete Eurospider Information Technology AG, welche Software für die Suche, Filterung und Kategorisierung von Informationen anbietet.
