Nowadays, the human being has become one of the main modifying agents of the terrestrial relief, environments that were in a state of balance end up going through new processes of instability caused by human actions. In large Brazilian cities, this modification occurs in areas of slopes due to inadequate construction of housing, which end up being aggravated erosive processes and mass movements. This modification of the relief, makes the morphodynamic processes end up being enhanced, especially in rainy periods in humid environments. This is the case of the area where the Miguel Arraes housing complex is located, a project of the Federal Government's "My House, My Life" program, budgeted at over 22 million reais, inaugurated in 2013, and in 2014, mass movement events occurred during the rainy season. Through images obtained from Google Earth Pro of the area of the complex, images from the years 2006, 2013 and 2017 were analyzed in order to observe the evolution of the landscape of this location.
