Gerda Buxbaum. Studierte Englisch, Philosophie und Psychologie, Publizistik und Kommunikationswissenschaft sowie Kunstgeschichte an der Universität Wien. 1985-96 Hochschulassistentin an der Hochschule für angewandte Kunst Wien. 1985-88 Redaktion einer wöchentlichen Modesendung im ORF. 1992-04 Lehrauftrag an der Hochschule für künstlerische und industrielle Gestaltung in Linz. 1993 Gastvorlesungen am FIDM Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles. 1993-97 Lehrauftrag an der Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee. 1995-99 Leitung des Büros für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und Ausstellungsmanagement an der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien. Seit 1999 Direktorin und Lehrtätigkeit an der Modeschule der Stadt Wien, Schloss Hetzendorf.
